Victoria Falls River Lodge

The first private game lodge set in the Zambezi National Park. This newly built luxury tented lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River. Exceptional wildlife viewing makes this uniquely located lodge the ideal place to explore Victoria Falls, as it combines the safari experience with one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Birdlife is prolific near the River and proximate areas and – being unfenced – guests are regularly treated to breath-taking sightings of both flying and four-legged residents of the Zambezi National Park and its surrounds in and around Camp.

Experience & Activities
Built upon raised decks, and sheltered by an extensive thatched roof, the 13 luxurious ‘tents’ are tastefully decorated in earthy hues with liberal splashes of crisp white, soothing sage and duck egg blue. Each offers a larger than king size bed (twin bed configurations are also possible in all rooms), comfortable sitting area, indoor and outdoor showers and a private viewing deck with plunge pool whereupon guests are able to sit comfortably and watch the hippos wallowing. Guests are welcome to cool off in the pool between daily river cruises and exciting game drives. The lodge provides a complimentary transfer to Victoria Falls and optional extra canoeing trips, fishing and walking safaris (available onsite) may also be arranged at an additional charge.
